User's Guide for Shopping BatikQuilts.com

BatikQuilts.com site has two different sections. The first is the non-shopping areas containing features such as the home page, sample galleries, calendar of events, related links, and contact information. The second section contains our e-store. Here you will find products listed for sale and navigation options for browsing and purchasing items. You can inter-link between the two sections by familiarizing yourself with the location of the navigation links. The top, black bar's options are section specific. However, the navigation links at the bottom of each page remain consistent throughout both sections. The left hand navigation column will always list the product categories and, occasionally, topics categories, such as each of the sample galleries.

Placing Your First Order
Placing a shopping cart order with BatikQuilts.com is easy. First you will need to browse or "search" for the items you would like to order in our e-store section. You can leisurely browse through the different categories of products using the left side navigation options or use BatikQuilts.com site's search page to enter keywords.

Finding Items
When you find an item that interests you, click on the name of the item, or thumbnail image, to see its product information page. Here you will see a larger image of the product and any additional information that may be available.

Adding Items to Your Shopping Cart
If you want to order an item from BatikQuilts.com, click on the "Add to Cart " button on the item's product's listing page. After clicking the button, a secure window opens (PayPal's secure server). Look for https:// in the URL (address) bar. The "s" accompanying the http part indicates that shopping and/or personal information is being transmitted via a secure line.

Once you've added a product to your shopping cart, use the navigation options at the bottom of the cart page to continue shopping. You can access the contents of your Shopping Cart at anytime while you are within the store by clicking on the "View Cart " navigation option in the left side nav column.

Items Missing From Your Shopping Cart?
Cookies are necessary for shopping. Missing items may be due to "cookie trimming" or file utility software causing the problem. Programs such as WebFree, Guard Dog, Cookie Cutter, and even certain browsers can be set to suppress cookies. Make sure you do not have utility software installed or your browser's preferences set to suppress cookies.
